FH will be in Los Angeles all next week to check out the Flux Screening Series as they premiere NASA The Spirit of Apollo doc, as well as Spike Jonze’s new Beastie Boys + Santigold music video “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win“.
We’re stickin’ around for the rest of the week to take in as much of the sights, sounds, and eats as we can cram in. So be sure to peep our tweeties to see where or what we’re checkin’ out.
In the meantime, enjoy our friend Isaac King’s awesome short film Second Hand which just made its way online. Send the man some love.

Jo gave a talk at the first Intersection here in Montreal last March. Yesterday the Nomads posted a clip of her presentation where you can see some behind the scenes imagery of the NASA video. We’re hoping to get more imagery up here on this blog as soon as we get some free time or unpaid interns. Wink!

What’s up kids? I’ll tell ya’ what’s up. NASA continues to dominate with being nominated for Best Hip Hop Video at the MVPA’s. The video is snug as a bug between other nominees Kanye West, Eminem, Ciara ft. Justin Timberlake & Maxwell.
So what will the big 11 bring this year…..tons of new stuff fool! Next week we’ll be posting our Timberland Reforest spot. Then mid February will bring out the vids we created for The One Show Entertainment Awards. In the meantime, check the front of the postcard invite below.

We love gettin’ mail. We especially love it when we get a big ol’ prize in the mail. On behalf of all the kids at FH ( myself and jo ), we send a monster high-five to the fine folks at HAFF for selecting us as the Grand Prix for commissioned work at this years Holland Animation Film Festival. It’s extra awesome because NASA took home the same award last year for the A Volta video. So kudos to the boys as well. For a full list of winners click here.

Tons of new goodies for the day after Halloween. First up in the bag o’ treats is a small excerpt from an upcoming documentary on the making of NASA’s Spirit of Apollo album.

Next up is another web banner for the fine folks at the One Show, this time out it’s a banner for the Creative UnConference event in LA on November 3rd.

The video is nearing the end of its festival run, so see it large while you can. Also a big festival thanks goes out to KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival where we picked up an Honourable Mention for Design. NASA dominated the category winning top honours for A Volta.

Here’s a double dose of duo news. First up, we have signed with Go Film in NY for Commercial Representation in the US. We’re very excited to join their roster and can’t wait to blow your minds with the work we’ll be doing with them.
Also on the NY front, we’ve got our “Spacious Thoughts” video for NASA playing at the Animation Block Party in Brooklyn at the end of July. Saturday the 31st to be exact at the BAMcinematek. NASA kicks it up a notch by dominating with two videos at the screening ours and Logans “A Volta”
The second round of news is really just a tease. Below are two images from newly completed projects. We’ll post links to the new work when they finally go online….when is that you ask? I don’t know I reply.

Lots of little tidbits to post today.
First up Johanne will be heading down to Austin, Texas for this years SXSW film fest. She’ll be there from the 12th to the 17th. Keep a look out out for the little lady, she’ll be in attendance for both screenings of the NASA video. As well as elbowing her way into some of the amazing panels.
Next up, we’ve also been lucky enough to get accepted into the 2010 ANIFEST festival in Teplice, Czech Republic.
Also, a reminder to get your tickets ready for Pictoplasma conference 9-10 of April in Berlin. We’ll be on hand givin’ it the ol’ FH try at lecturing on what we do , and how we do it.

Holy smokes, we just got around to posting this interview we did with Alice Ross over at Digital Arts in the UK. A huge thanks to Neil Bennett and his whole crew.
